Beneath the surface of Puget Sound, a small invader is quietly rewriting the rules of an ancient ecosystem, and the scientists, tribal fisheries, and shellfish farmers racing to understand it before it’s too late.

Green Crab is Rylan’s directorial debut, currently in production along Washington’s coast. Research and development began in spring 2025, with production continuing on weekends and multi-week summer shoots through next year.
